Description Main Features

The DDZY876 is used for a wide range of smart prepaid metering applications. Is split type, consisting of two parts, the MCU(Metering & Control Unit) and CIU( Customer Interface Unit). The CIU is installed within consumer’s home, while MCU is installed in a meter cabinet away from consumers.


  • DLMS/COSEM standard compliant.

  • IEC62056-21 Compliant optical port allowing for easy data interrogation.

  • Operate in both prepayment and postpayment.

  • Measurement of electrical parameters (Active energy, power, current, voltage, etc.)

  • Programmable load limit and low credit warning.

  • Detection and record tamper event such as opening main cover&terminal cover, current reverse.

  • Will cut off the power supply in case of overload after 5 minutes duration,  no credit, opening main cover&terminal cover.

  • Downlink communication (between MCU and CIU) is M-Bus/RF/PLC,uplink communication would be RF/PLC.

  • Digits: 6 integers + 2 decimal

  • MCU LED indicators(1000imp/kWh, credit, alarm, comm)

  • CIU LED indicators( M-Bus/PLC: 1000imp/kWh, credit, alarm; RF: credit, alarm, comm)
