The DTZY876 is designed specially for Ecuador market. Main cover&terminal cover are made of transparent  polycarbonate, resistant to UV rays (IEC 60068-2-5) and flame retardant.

Is split type, consisting of two parts, the MCU(Metering & Control Unit) and CIU( Customer Interface Unit). The CIU is installed within consumer’s home, while MCU is installed in a meter cabinet away from consumers.


  • 20 digit (Standard Transfer Specification) STS encryption.

  • DLMS / COSEM standards compliant.

  • Disconnects on main cover&terminal cover open.

  • Configurable two modes(prepayment and postpayment).

  • Events record such as opening mail cover&terminal cover, current reverse , overload, overvoltage, overcurrent.

  • Ultrasonic welding and 2 screws of type unidirecctional on main cover.

  • Maximum demand and load profile measurement.

  • 12 selfreading.

  • Communication downlinked( between MCU and CIU) is RF+MBUS.
